Project Description
Core Ray is a physical raytracer completely written in C#.

Technology Used
C# 3.5, WPF (for UI client), Collada

Current Features
  • Full object pluggable architecture
  • Multithreaded renderer
  • Triangle based meshes to allow future GPU hardware acceleration using the same data.
  • Basic Multi-view scenegraph implementation
  • Samplers
    • Basic sampler (1 sample per pixel)
    • Stratified sampler
  • Basic Collada file support (Only geometry and camera loading supported for the moment)
  • Supported Image output Format
    • BMP
  • Integrators
    • Whitted Integrator (No reflection rays or refraction rays for the moment)
  • Cameras
    • Basic Perspective Camera
